Skeptical

I have to say, whenever I see a book with a title like this, or one that promises something like love, happiness and passion I am massively skeptical.
However, so far this book has more than lived up to my expectations and has removed any trace of skepticism.
To illustrate my point, I decided to implement just ONE of the strategies the author shares regarding proper communication and listening (especially in the heat of an angry moment) and it worked. Almost instantly. Instead of a fight being caused and dragging out, it snuffed the situation and opened the doors to a practical conversation that solved the issue.
Highly recommended.

Wow, there's an amazing amount of great stuff in here

It's got a wealth of useful information, some great quotations (we especially like Jay Leno's), and very insightful quizzes that point out a lot of things you might not be aware of. Neil Rosenthal's book draws from (and expands upon) a conglomeration of great self-help and relationship advice from the likes of Byron Katie, Bonnie Gabriel, and Ron Potter-Efron. From the advice in all the letters and case studies contained in this work, it is clear he is an experienced expert in the field.
Neil offers clear, sensible advice on an astounding array of topics. Everything you need

OK, so since I'm a guy, let's assume that I need help with relationships :-)
This is a very impressive book that is well-written and easy to read and absorb. I was surprised at the sheer scope of topics covered in all the book's case studies and letters. Neil Rosenthal is obviously a smart, capable, and experienced counselor.
Whether you're seeking help evaluating yourself or your relationship, you'll get good advice and insights for developing closeness, dealing with crises, building (and maintaining) trust, listening and sharing, and just about anything else you may need. I'll look forward to reading more from this author!
