"Now in its 10th edition, this is truly a superb resource for all things cardiovascular and seems to be breathtaking in its coverage. A lot of books can claim to be a one stop shop and though it does not claim to be-I guess this book should answer most queries from the basic to the sophisticated when dealing with a patient and their problems. There is a lot of good science within the text though undeniably, it is a clinical book; the basic science is relevant to a clinician and makes reading around a topic much more interesting and educational". Great reference

This text is a great tool for anyone in cardiology or wishing to expand cardiology knowledge base. It is advanced, so a good baseline understanding of cardiology is necessary in order to understand the reading. I purchased this test to help build up my cardiology skills as I begin a new career in cardiology as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

Makes you wonder if a cardiology book can be perfect anymore

Obviously this is the standard book, but it is not prefect. As the subject of cardiovascular disease is exploding, it has become more and more challenging to cover it all in a textbook (hence the online only content I guess!). Two chapters that I have read so far left me with a lot more to desire (cardio-oncology and cardiac disease in the athlete) but on the other hand the chapter on exercise testing is phenomenal.
I will probably update more as I continue to read but so far I have had mixed feelings about it unlike the prior two editions.

Very good text graphic and cover. Abundant in pictures and schemes. Presents uptodate knowledge in cardiology. Also the price is acceptable.
